I believe most of us heard about FIR before. But, did you guys really understand what is FIR? What are the benefits of this rays? Is it going to give you any bad impact on your health? Or is it really helpful to be one of the therapy for certain diseases?

Now, I would share some information about FIR.

What is FIR?

Based on Wikipedia definition, Far infrared (FIR) is a region in the infrared spectrum of electromagnetic radiation. Far infrared is often defined as any radiation with a wavelength of 15 micrometers (µm) to 1 mm (corresponding to a range of about 20 THz to 300 GHz), which places far infrared radiation within the CIE IR-B and IR-C bands.^[1] Different sources use different boundaries for the far infrared spectrum; for example, astronomers sometimes define far infrared as wavelengths between 25 µm and 350 µm.^[2]

Far Infrared is part of the spectrum of light emanating from the sun. Far infrared is not visible to the eye, but you feel it as heat penetrating into your skin. 

FIR rays penetrate deep into the joint and surrounding tissues which increase blood flow, reduces inflammation and decreases pain.

FIR rays and its therapeutic properties have been studied in China and Japan for over 30 years and is now beginning to become very popular in the United States. 

FIR Benefits

1) FIR expands capillaries which stimulates increased blood flow, regeneration, circulation and oxygenation. Alleviation of breathing problems and congestion.

 

2) FIR is excellent for detox. Scientists in Japan report that in the FIR treatment of clogged capillary vessels, heat expands the capillaries and then initiates the start of a process to dissolve hidden toxins. FIR thereby promotes elimination of fats, chemicals and toxins from the blood.

7) FIR relieves nervous tension. Relaxation of muscles and relief of muscular aches - reduces back, shoulder and neck pains.

8) FIR strengthens the Immune System by stimulating increased production of white blood cells.

9) FIR strengthens the Cardiovascular System by causing heart rate and cardiac output increase, and diastolic blood pressure decrease.

10) FIR aids in the destruction of cancer cells which cannot survive if the temperature of the cell  becomes 107.6F/42C and above.

11) FIR improves general body functions, and relieves tiredness and stress in both body and mind.

Family Weekend Gateway Jan 2014 - Bandung!!

Hi Gorgeous!!

Sorry..I didn't update this blog for quite some times. Well, for your info, I went to Bandung, Indonesia on 9th Jan - 12th Jan 2014. It was a family trip. Although it was only 4days and 3 nights, but we enjoyed Bandung so much!

We departed from Kuala Lumpur on 9th January at 10pm via AirAsia. It took 2 hours and 5minutes from KL to Bandung. We arrived at Husien Sastranegara Airport, Bandung at about 11:00 pm Bandung time ( FYI, Bandung time is 1 hour behind KL time).

Ah..before I forgot, would like to inform you that, we booked for a rental car with a driver to ease our trip. We chose DOM rental car (www.domrentalcar.com). So, once we arrived at Bandung Airport, the driver was there, waiting for us. I had 7 adults (my mom, dad, husband, brother, sister & brother in law) and also 4 kids (my niece, nephew and of course my two lil' heroes!). DOM rental car service provide us 12-seater MPV. It was so comfortable. The driver's name is Andy. He sent us to the hotel. We stayed at Sukajadi Hotel (www.sukajadihotel.com).

Tangkuban Parahu

 We depart from hotel at 8.00 am. Andy brought us to Tangkuban Perahu. Tangkuban Perahu (pronounce: Tangkuban Parahu in local Sundanese dialect) volcano is located 30 km in the north of Bandung. The popular attraction of this mountain is hiking or riding to the edge of the crater, viewing hot water springs and the boiling mud up closely. 

Tangkuban Perahu name has its ancient history. Tangkuban is the word of sundanese which means flipped over and Perahu means ship in English. In the whole term, Tangkuban Perahu means as mountain that has a shape like a flipped over-ship. This mountain shape can be seen from far away.

Bandung is well-known for the cakes and pastry. Kartika Sari is one of them. This bakery located in Dago area. The interior is nice and a good place for family to hang out together. This bakery is nice and clean. My favourite menu here are BANANA BOLEN, filled with chocolate and cheese, also of course Kartika Sari Special Toast, called BAGELEN! So delicious!! Happy New Year 2014!!

Well, before welcoming 2014, I want to say goodbye to 2013. It was a good year for me. A lot of  memories which I won't forget especially in Feb 2013, my second child was born. Now, I have 2 boys..yeah!! Here is the photo of my family...  :-)

And in July 2013, after minor renovation completed, finally we managed to move in to our own house..yeah! A lot more memories in 2013 which I wish I can share with you, guys...Thanks a lot 2013!!  

So now, let's talk about 2014...HAPPY NEW YEAR, WELCOME 2014!!

So how do you celebrate your new year? CONCERT? FIREWORKS? That are so synonym with new year celebration, right? But, each individual has their own ways of celebrating it. 

When we talk about new year, people must relate it with RESOLUTION. What's yours? To be more successful person? To buy a new house, car, or maybe gadget? To find a soul-mate, maybe? This is a never-ending topic to discuss. But, whatever resolutions that you may have, we must check whether they are categorized as SMART resolution or not :-)

Specific - Clearly define your resolution or goal. Make it as specific as possible. And write down exactly why you want to achieve this goal

Measurable - Next, make your goal Measurable.Establish clear definitions to help you measure if you are reaching your goal

Attainable - Your resolution or goal must be achievable. You can do something to actually make it happen.

Realistic - Give yourself opportunity to succeed by having resolution or goal you will actually be able to accomplish. Also need to consider obstacles you may need to overcome  :-)

Time-bound - How much time do you have to achieve it? Decide when you want to start and complete your resolution and goal.

For me, I hope 2014 will bring a lot more success to me, especially in my career and my business. And of course, more happiness and joyful moments for me and my family  :-)
